Spiritual Direction
Once a month, $75/session
Spiritual direction is a space that is fully yours. We may start with a prayer or a poem to help ground us. Then, as you begin to share whatever it is that you brought that day, my role as a listener is to help you listen to yourself. Spiritual direction is not fixing or pastoral counseling, advice-giving or consultation, it is an opportunity to spend time with your heart and be present to yourself.
I believe my work as a spiritual director is to help you notice and access your own inner wisdom. So much spiritual growth is actually a process of remembering who we truly are. You know yourself best. As I notice, ask questions, and wonder, my hope is that you become more and more alive to your true self.
Group Direction
Group spiritual direction is a gathering of a director plus two, three, or four directees. As the group director, I host an environment for our small group to center and ground themselves while listening to one of the members share each month. After listening, the group responds with curiosity, asking questions that help the directee hear their own story in a deeper way. The directee then has the opportunity to respond. The structure varies as well as the length of time we spend together and how many people share each month. This is a wonderful space to share with friends interested in deeper relationship and learning to live out deep listening and presence in their communities.
