More about me

I am a stay at home mom who also: taught after school art classes, befriended elders in nursing homes, co-founded an online bakery, led a charismatic healing ministry, wrote a mommyblog, recommended YA lit as a high school library assistant, and sheepishly dropped out of theology grad school when I realized spiritual direction was calling me. I trained with Christian Formation and Direction Ministries NW and I’m proud to be in community with many gifted spiritual healers and helpers.

While my tradition is Catholic, I’m familiar with and comfortable in Protestant environments and continue to venture into wider and ever more expansive spiritual spaces. I believe God has given us many tools and modalities to help us awaken and remember ourselves.

I’m a middle-aged white lady, but my husband is Chinese-American which is how I got that last name. If you are looking for a female spiritual director of color, let me direct you here.

My very favorite thing is listening to someone share their spiritual stories and experiences. My other favorite things are water views, chocolate cake, good books, and oversharing on the Internet here and here.
